Penguin feeding experiences return at the NEW Zoo. PC: Fox 11 Online
SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The NEW Zoo has announced the return of a popular animal experience.
The Penguin Feeding Experiences are a way to get up-close and personal with the animals. You’ll go behind-the-scenes into the Penguin Habitat, chat with an expert zookeeper and meet and feed the African penguins.
Penguin Feeding Experiences are designed for small groups of up to six people, ages 2 and above. Children under age 2 do not count towards the maximum number and are allowed into the feeding area as long as they are held by an adult.
One feeding session will be held every Saturday and Sunday at noon starting Saturday, Feb. 4. The cost is $50 per session, in addition to regular zoo admission.
The NEW Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Half-priced tickets are available at the door through the end of February.
