TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man suffered minor injuries after an early morning house fire in Two Rivers.
Crews were called to the home at 1116 34th Street just before 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, smoke was seen coming out of the first floor of the home. The occupant of the home had already gotten out.
The fire was brought under control around 2 a.m.
The occupant of the home was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation and minor injuries.
The fire caused about $25,000 worth of damage in the basement, as well as smoke and heat damage to the first floor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
