GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay is looking to give even bigger this year.
For Give BIG Green Bay’s sixth year, the Green Bay Packers will providing its usual $250,000 in match donations to support the participating Brown County nonprofits. Community donors will be supporting the organizations with $250,000 as well.
The online giving day, hosted by the Packers Foundation and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, will run from noon on Feb. 21 to noon on Feb. 22.
The 45 participating organizations will receive a portion of the match dollars based on how much they fundraise.
Last year, Give BIG raised more than $2.47 million, with 4,391 donating to the project.
Donations can be made to specific organizations or in general to help increase the match benefit.
