FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Two more people have been convicted of voting illegally in Fond du Lac County.
Markeis Carter entered a deferred prosecution agreement Monday on a count of falsifying voter registration information, court records show. If he completes the terms of the agreement, the charge will be cleared from his record.
Jamie Wells pleaded no contest to falsifying election registration information, and was fined $300, court records show. She was convicted of misdemeanor election fraud Monday.
Monday’s court actions were the latest in a series of voter fraud prosecutions in Fond du Lac County.
