(WTAQ) — The polls are now closed throughout the state of Wisconsin, that happened at 8:00, and the results will soon be pouring in from across the state. If you’re still in line, you can remain in line, and will be able to cast your ballot.
The two biggest races we’re following tonight: The race for one of Wisconsin’s two senate seats being contested by two-term incumbent Republican Ron Johnson, and current Democrat Lt. Governor of Wisconsin, Mandela Barnes. We’re also watching the race for Governor, between incumbent Democrat Tony Evers, running for his second term, and construction executive Tim Michels. Johnson and Michels, the Republicans, are both favored in the polls, although those polls show a tighter race between Evers and Michels than Johnson and Barnes.
We’ll have updates on-air twice an hour through ten o’clock tonight, and then two more updates on the half hour as the race becomes clearer.
