LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The state Department of Transportation is set to open an overpass bridge after a dump truck struck it with its raising box last week.
The Rose Hill Road bridge over Interstate 41 in Little Chute will be opening Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The bridge will be open to a single lane with temporary traffic signals to direct drivers. Speed is reduced to 25 mph at the bridge as a precaution as well.
The Wisconsin DOT is still evaluating options to repair the damage but has decided that the bridge is structurally safe for travel underneath and on the overpass as well.
