GREEN BAY, WI (METRO) – Green Bay only has enough lifeguards to keep one city pool open this weekend. City parks manager Ann Moeller yesterday said they are 10 lifeguards short this summer.
That means only the Resch Aquatic Center will open as planned. She says the Joannes Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool will remain closed for now.
Moeller says Green Bay is struggling to find summer help at the parks department this year. She’s not guessing when the city’s pools will fully open.
