SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An interdiction in Shawano County yielded dozens of arrests and drug seizures.
With the help of other law enforcement agencies, the Shawano County Drug Task Force organized a large-scale criminal interdiction Thursday to target illegal drugs and criminal driving violations.
The following is a list of statistics from the interdiction:
- Traffic Stops: 98
- Warnings: 123
- Citations: 50
- Total Individuals Arrested: 35
Arrest Violations:
- Possession of Meth: 3
- Possession Schedule 1 drug (Fentanyl/Heroin): 2
- Possession Narcotic Drug: 2
- Possession of THC: 4
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: 6
- Possession of Electric Weapon: 1
- Operate after Revocation of License: 7
- Operate w/o Valid License (2+): 4
- Felony Misappropriation of ID: 1
- Resist/Obstructing: 2
- Operate a Motor Vehicle while Impaired: 1
- Bailjumping: 5
- Warrants: 6
- Probation Violation: 1
The Shawano County Drug Task Force would like to thank the following agencies for their assistance during the interdiction: Forest County Sherriff’s Office, Clintonville Police Department, Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, Oconto Falls Police Department, Pulaski Police Department, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, Crivitz Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
