KIEL, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There’s another bomb threat in Kiel.
Nobody is at the school today, they’ve been virtual for days.
It’s the fourth consecutive day that they school has been targeted by a bomb threat.
The school has been at the center of a controversy for two weeks after launching an investigation into students allegedly using non-preferred gender pronouns to refer to another student. The student allegedly prefers “they/them” pronouns. The district has filed a Title IX sexual harassment complaint against three middle school students in the case.
Previous threats specifically mentioned the investigation.
The city has canceled its Memorial Day parade, citing the security concerns.
