Milwaukee Bucks
BOSTON, MA (WTAQ) — The back and forth series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics is over, with the defending-champion Bucks falling to Boston 109-81 on the road Sunday.
The Bucks got off to a hot start and an early lead in the first quarter before the Celtics offense overpowered the typically stout Bucks defense, allowing Boston to dominate the rest of the game.
Boston’s Grant Williams scored 27 to lead the Celtics. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 25-of-26 shooting.
The Bucks run out of gas in the 2nd half, outscored 61-38.
The Celtics move on to play the Miami Heat. The Bucks start getting ready for next season.
