GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Farmers markets are returning to downtown Green Bay this month, and after years of changes due to the pandemic, things are looking normal again.
Emily Cubitt with Downtown Green Bay says they’re excited to get things started again.
“There’s going to be about 75+ vendors,” Cubitt told WTAQ. “With fresh and local produce, fresh and prepared food, handmade goods. You name it, we got it.”
As far as pandemic changes go, Cubitt says you can expect the market to look as it did in 2019.
“Last year, essentially, we had more distance between the vendors. This year, we’re able to bring them together more like in years past,” said Cubitt.
The markets feature not only vendors but live music and free yoga starting at 8 AM. It all starts on the Saturday of Memorial day weekend, May 28th.
