NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — ThedaCare has broken ground on a $100 million expansion at its Neenah Hospital.
The plan, announced last fall, includes renovating departments and rooms, adding a helipad and other improvements.
“The significant investment will enhance and expand services at ThedaCare Regional Medical Cneter in Neenah,” said ThedaCare CEO Dr. Imran Andrabi during the Friday groundbreaking.
Andrabi anticipates the facility will have a wide impact.
“Neenah, as a regional medical center, doesn’t just take care of the local area,” Andrabi said Friday. “It takes care of the entire region by virtue of the services it has to offer.”
Work began in January. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2023.
