GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — A community resource fair held Wednesday on the campus of St. Norbert College aimed to raise awareness about the resources available to victims of sexual assault, trafficking, and domestic violence.
Samantha Jurczykowski is the Program Supervisor for the Sexual Assault Center and says there’s a lot out there that some victims don’t know about.
“We have around five different victim service agencies in Brown County,” said Jurczykowski. “We’re very fortunate because I know we don’t have that in every county.”
It comes amid National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, which aims to raise awareness of the rights and resources available for crime victims.
“People feel so alone when they’re the victim of a crime,” Jurczykowski said. “We just want them to know there are people out there who want to help.”
