GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro Fire Department was dispatched for a house fire at 3220 Meadow Circle. BCSD arrived first and said house was fully involved with fire.
Engine Company 9 was first to arrive and set up defensive operations.
No one was home at the time of the fire and this was confirmed by owner out of state. The home was being renovated.
Crews worked outside of the building throughout the incident. The fire had burned down the garage and attic of the house. Due to these safety issues, no Firefighters entered the structure.
Fire crews were on scene for 2 hours extinguishing fire, and doing overhaul. No people or Firefighters were injured.
The origin of the fire remains under investigation. Damages estimated at $200 thousand.
