There is plenty of local representation in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association pre-season poll that was released yesterday.
In Division 1, Divine Savior Holy Angels is ranked #1 with Appleton East and Kimberly ranked third and ninth, respectively.
In Division 2, Whitefish Bay is ranked #1 with no local teams ranked.
Division 3 has a large northeast Wisconsin presence. McFarland is ranked #1 with Plymouth, Notre Dame, Fox Valley Lutheran and Xavier ranked, third, fourth, ninth and tenth, respectively.
In Division 4, Brookfield Academy is the top-ranked team with St. Mary Catholic checking in at seventh.
