APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) –- A pastor facing 13 counts of possession of child pornography was ordered Wednesday to stand trial.
Rick Haberland, 48, waived a preliminary hearing. An arraignment date was not immediately set.
He also faces one counts of possession of methamphetamine.
Haberland was arrested after Outagamie County sheriff’s deputies searched his home. The search came after the sheriff’s office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Haberland is the pastor of Oneida United Methodist Church, according to sheriff’s officials. He previously served at New Hope United Methodist Church in De Pere, Suring and Hickory United Methodist Churches in Suring, Phillips United Methodist Church in Phillips and Tabor United Methodist Church in Eden, Wisconsin.
