GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — It was a very dry February throughout much of Wisconsin.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Taso Kallas says Green Bay and Appleton both saw the second lowest precipitation on record for the month.
The dryness is expected to end soon.
Snow will turn to freezing rain during a storm expected this Friday.
“Of course, being Friday and into the weekend, people will be going out and about, so be careful,” said Kallas.
Kallas says the average temperature this winter will likely wind up slightly lower than average.
