GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Additional child sexual assault charges have been filed against a former Green Bay teacher, who’s already facing a July trial on similar counts.
David Villareal was charged this week with four counts: two counts of sexual assault of a student by a staff member, first-degree sexual assault of a person under 16 with a threat of force, and first-degree sexual assault of a child under age 13. The incidents occurred in September 2015, and April 2016, court records show.
No court date is listed for this case, and the criminal complaint was filed under seal, according to the Brown County Clerk of Courts office.
FOX 11 has contact the District Attorney’s office for information about why it was filed that way.
Villareal, 47, was charged last April with three sexual assault of child charges. According to the criminal complaint, three former students allege Villareal inappropriately touched them during class between 2015 and 2017. Villareal denied the allegations when he was interviewed by police.
His next hearing in that case is set for March 18, with trial scheduled for July 11.
Villareal resigned after the charges were filed.
