FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) — A 10-year-old child is recovering after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday Afternoon in Fond du Lac.
Police there say that the child was walking alongside Old Pioneer Road when they stepped into traffic and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Fond du Lac resident.
A 22-year-old, who was uninvolved, wound up being arrested by police after causing a disturbance at the scene.
The child is recovering.
