GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Registration is now open for this year’s Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.
The 23rd edition is scheduled for May 15 and will be in-person after being virtual the last two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Cellcom Green Bay Marathon weekend is something that runners near and far, volunteers, and local businesses look forward to year after year,” said Brighid Riordan, board vice president for the marathon, in a news release. “We are excited to be returning to an in-person event this year, offering participants an opportunity for wellness, and making a difference in the community through economic impact and charitable contributions.”
Start and finish lines will be located in the stadium district, and the 5K portion of the race will also be held on May 15. While courses are in the process of being finalized, all of the day’s events will include a lap around Lambeau Field, according to the release.
Participants can register at the lowest rate through Jan. 31. For more information and to register, visit Cellcom Green Bay Marathon’s website.
