GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Packers Playoff game is this Saturday at Lambeau Field ! You can get ready to cheer on the Pack with a pep rally this Friday afternoon at 3:30, in the heart of downtown.
Packers fans will gather for a tailgate-style kickoff to Playoff weekend.
“We’re going to have a big Packers playoff pep rally, at the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza, on the corner of Washington and Cherry Streets.”
Emily Cubitt is with Downtown Green Bay Inc.
“It’s a great way for the whole community to come out, in the heart and soul of Green Bay, and cheer on the Packers.”
She says it’s also a chance to bring some customers into downtown businesses. Downtown hotels will be near, if not at, capacity for the Saturday night game.
“Great for the whole community, all the local businesses benefit by such a big game, a big event, happening in the area.”
The rally will feature a band, some surprise guests. You’re encouraged to dress warm and wear your green and gold.
