GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Preble High School now has an interim principal for the remainder of the 2021-22 academic year.
The Green Bay Area Public School District announced Thursday that Bruce Russell will assume the role. His first day will be Tuesday.
Russell has served as interim high school principal for several Northeast Wisconsin school districts since his retirement in 2018. Prior to retiring, he was a teacher, associate principal and high school principal, according to the district.
Russell takes over for Natasha Rowell, who resigned last month. She had served as Preble High School’s principal since 2010.
The district has begun the process of finding a principal for the 2022-23 school year. The district’s goal is to announce the new principal in the spring.
