KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – A 37-year-old woman is in custody after leading police on a chase along Interstate 41, through the Fox Valley, in a stolen car.
Just after midnight on Sunday, Kaukauna Officers were monitoring an incident that originated in Grand Chute where a vehicle was stolen at a gas station and the owner was possibly injured while trying to prevent the theft. The stolen vehicle was being pursued on Interstate 41 north bound toward Kaukauna by Wisconsin State Patrol. The State Patrol unit had to discontinue the pursuit.
The stolen vehicle was found a short time later by Fox Valley Metro officers still north bound on I-41.
