GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Another round of accumulating snowfall is impacting our day across northeast Wisconsin, with gusty west-northwest winds topping 30 miles per hour adding the concern for blowing snowfall, region-wide.
Forecast snow totals reach 2 to 5 inches in most locations, with the highest amounts over the north. Lingering snow showers will still be possible through tonight, even into Thursday, at times.
The blowing snow potential could reduce visibility at times, and quickly cover plowed roads with slippery snowfall once again. Travel will caution throughout the area this Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday
Behind the snowfall, much colder air moves in for the end of the workweek. After holding temperatures in the mid-20s for Wednesday, low to mid-teens will be more common for daytime highs on Thursday and Friday.
