CITY OF OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was found dead on a set of railroad tracks on Saturday.
Around 1:49 a.m., the Oshkosh Police Department got a call from Canadian National Railroad.
The caller told them that as the train was heading South through the area of Washington Avenue and Broad Street, it hit something. The caller stated that they weren’t sure what the train hit.
When officers got to the scene they found the man, who they identified to be a 22-year-old from Oshkosh.
Police say that the death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
