GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The fourth, and final, suspect was convicted Wednesday in connection with the murder of Federico Abarca during a drug deal and armed robbery.
Jarid Stevens, 21, pleaded no contest to felony murder-armed robbery in connection with the Feb. 22, 2019, shooting on the city’s east side. Sentencing is scheduled for March 11.
Jared Williquette and Colton Kehoe were sentenced to 18 years in prison, while Gavin Rock received a 12-year sentence.
Green Bay police said Rock set up a drug deal with Abarca on Snapchat. The four went to Abarca’s apartment planning to steal five vaping cartridges that contained THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. A dispute occurred, and Abarca was killed.
