GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – It will be two months until Green Bay’s ethics board decides whether it will take up an elections complaint against Mayor Eric Genrich.
The board met Tuesday evening to discuss the complaint from resident Kimber Rollin.
Rollin claims Genrich allowed an outside party to administer last November’s election, which violates state law. Genrich has consistently denied any accusations of wrongdoing with the election.
Genrich’s lawyer has asked for the complaint to be dismissed based on jurisdiction issues.
Rollin has until January 18th to file a response to the dismissal request. Genrich’s attorney then has until January 28th to file a response.
In mid February, the ethics board will meet again to decide whether to proceed and to potentially set a date for an evidentiary hearing.
