WASHINGTON ISLAND, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Door County school district is going virtual for two weeks to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Washington Island School District students will move to a virtual learning model, starting Dec. 6 through Dec. 17.
This comes after a number of students reported having COVID-19. The district serves a total of 69 students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Virtual learning will help prevent further spread of the virus.
