KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ) – A Kimberly High School student could face charges after police responded to a call regarding a possible weapon at the school on Friday.
High school officials contacted the school resource officer and Fox Valley Metro Police, who quickly located the student in question. Officers immediatley determined the gun was not real.
That student was removed from campus and is reportedly cooperating with law enforcement.
As result of this investigation, it was determined there was no immediate threat and charges are being referred to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office by the Fox Valley Metro Police Department.
