GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – After 10 days in the hospital fighting the effects of COVID-19, FOX 11 Director of Meteorology and co-anchor of Good Day Wisconsin, Pete Petoniak is home continuing his recovery.
“The doctors and nurses were great but I am just so happy to be home now.” he told FOX 11 Saturday.
Petoniak was released Thursday night around 9 p.m. His medical team had determined that the next step in the recovery process could be taken at home. Like many people who have been hospitalized for treatment of COVID-19, he still has to navigate the impact of the disease.
Petoniak wanted people to know he was fully vaccinated at the time he was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Midwest Communications wishes Pete Petoniak continued and fast improvement in his recovery.
