OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) — The busiest time of the year is upon Whispering Pines Christmas Tree Farm.
They’re right between their two busiest weekends of the year–Black Friday
Megan Yeska is one of the owners and says there are plenty of trees to go around.
“We have close to 1,000 trees down in De Pere, and in these few weeks we will get rid of most of them, if not all of them,” says Yeska.
Whispering Pines has a tree lot in De Pere in addition to their farm in Oconto where you can cut a tree down yourself–but there’s a lot more to do, too. Especially this coming weekend.
“We are going to have Booyah that day, Santa, our tractor rides, we also are expecting a visit from the Who family,” Yeska told WTAQ. “It’s going to be really fun that December 4th.”
Yeska says they’ve seen more people choosing a “real tree” over the past two pandemic years.
“We expect a whole lot of fun,” Yeska said. “A whole lot of trees going out, and families making memories.”
