GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Green Bay has a new Police Chief.
Chris Davis was officially sworn in as Chief of Police during a ceremony Thursday morning.
Davis comes to Green Bay from the Portland, Oregon, Police Bureau, where he was deputy chief. He’s been in law enforcement for 27 years.
Davis grew up in Central Ohio, but the move to Green Bay is a homecoming of sorts–his wife, Ann, is from Kaukauna.
He succeeds Andrew Smith, who retired in May.
