The tornado reportedly was on the ground between Nichols and Black Creek around 6:15 p.m.
In addition, thousands are without power Wednesday morning in Green Bay, according to the Wisconsin Public Service Outage Map.
Allouez residents were warned about damage to trees and power lines. Leading the village to release a statement:
Notice to all Allouez residents- do not approach downed wires as this could be very dangerous as the wires could be live. The village is coordinating our response and responding to the calls as fast as we can. Do not cut up any downed trees as there may be downed wires not seen.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Timm Uhlmann tells WTAQ that you should expect more severe weather tonight.
“There’s another cold front coming through today, starting in the mid afternoon and going through the evening hours,” he said Wednesday morning.
Uhlmann adds that the recent stretch of rain and severe weather in Northeast Wisconsin is because of a lingering pocket of warm gulf air sitting above the area, which causes storms when combining with cold fronts.
