(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Don’t go burning your Bucks jersey. It was only one game.
The Milwaukee Bucks dropped the first game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals best-of-seven series 116-113 at the FiServ Forum in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points and Jrue Holiday added 33 but it was Atlanta’s Trae Young who stole the show with 48 points.
Young said putting on a show on the road is one thing he likes.
Antetokounmpo said the Bucks need to make things more difficult for Young.
The Bucks again struggled with their shooting, making just 8-of-32 3-point attempts. Khris Middleton particularly struggled, missing all 9 of his 3-point attempts.
Middleton who finished with 15 points said the team needs to be better on shooting three-point attempts.
Game two of the series is Friday night with the pre-game starting at 7 and the tip-off at 7:30 on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
