GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Friday is Kids’ Day in the city of Green Bay.
There are plenty of free events for kids all day long including free swimming between four and six at the Resch Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool and free admission at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Vehicles and equipment from the Green Bay Police, Fire, and Sanitation Departments will also be on display.
Mayor Eric Genrich says it’s a sign of normalcy returning to Green Bay.
“This is a day for kids and families in the city of Green Bay,” Genrich told WTAQ. “It’s something we’ve done for a couple decades, nearly. We just wanted to carry that tradition forward.”
Kids’ Day was first held in 2003.
Kids’ day was canceled last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
