ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — There are 457 Kwik Trip gas stations in the state of Wisconsin.
Cassandra Berger has been to almost all of them.
The La Crosse resident visited the Kwik Trips in the Green Bay area last week as part of her mission to see every single Kwik Trip in the state.
“It probably started about 5-6 years ago when I started college,” Berger told WTAQ. “I would go on Friday nights to get the Cream filled long Johns and the pizza.”
That was the start of a love affair so passionate, so deep, that Cassandra, who was already making posts about the company on social media, with the help of Kwik Trip, decided to embark on a journey to every single Kwik Trip Gas Station in the state of Wisconsin–all 457 of them. We met up with her at the iconic Lombardi Avenue Location, just blocks from Lambeau Field.
“I think after this weekend I’ll be at like 386,” she said. “I’m killing it.”
But what does she actually DO at these Kwik Trips?
“I really like talking to the workers,” said Berger. “That’s probably my favorite thing because they all seem to love working for Kwik Trip, and then I also love talking to customers. I do all my grocery shopping at Kwik Trip, too.”
Having been to so many Kwik Trips, and having eaten so much of her favorite Kwik Trip snack–which, by the way, is pickle chips–you might think it would be hard to pick a favorite, but not for Cassandra.
“Probably the one that’s closest to me in LaCrosse,” Berger laughed. “It’s home base. It’s just convenient. It’s right there. Has everything I want.”
She makes more than just quick trips into each location, though. She also will give away gift cards in exchange for correct answers to her stinging Kwik Trip trivia questions.
“I love doing videos I love Kwik Trip, I love people, I kinda love everything about what I’m doing,” said Berger. “I just feel very fortunate that I’m able to do it.”
