(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers’ faltering offense did them no favors Saturday night as Milwaukee lost to Atlanta 5-1.
Atlanta starting pitcher Ian Anderson carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning before Dan Vogelbach broke it up with a weak single to the outfield.
A Luis Urias sacrfice fly eventually scored Vogelbach in the inning.
Brett Anderson took the loss for the Brewers, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks in 3 2/3 innings.
The two teams will conclude the series in Milwaukee today.
