ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oneida Casino’s main and IMAC locations are set to reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday following shootings over the weekend.
The casino complex in Ashwaubenon has been closed since Saturday night as the Brown County Sheriff’s Office investigated the shooting. Deputies say Bruce Pofahl, a former employee who was fired earlier this year, walked into the Duck Creek Kitchen + Bar and shot three people. Jacob T. Bartel, 35, and Ian J. Simpson, 32, died, and Daniel L. Mulligan, 28, was injured.
Three officers from the Green Bay Police Department shot and killed Pofahl. The state Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the investigation into the shooting of Pofahl.
