ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) In an updated press release on Sunday, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office says they are still actively working to get eyewitness statements of the shooting at the Radisson Hotel Saturday night.
Brown County says it will not be releasing names of the suspect, victims, or officers involved.
A news conference is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. outside the Brown County Sheriff’s Office building.
The Sheriff’s office is asking anyone that was direct eyewitnesses of the incident who has not yet spoken to authorities to contact Lt. Brian Slinger at 920-448-4229.
The Wisconsin Crime Lab is working with the Department of Investigation and Brown County Investigators to process the scene.
Wisconsin DCI is handling the investigation of the officer involved shooting of the suspect, while Brown County is handling the double homicide and attempted homicide.
The Oneida Nation also sent out an updated release Sunday, which confirms that the shooting occurred at the Duck Creek Bar and Grill inside the Radisson hotel.
Oneida Nation says the FBI is also helping investigate the shooting with Brown County and Wisconsin DOJ.
