STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Mass COVID-19 vaccination clinics at Door County Medical Center will no longer be held after this month.
The hospital says it is discontinuing the clinics at the end of the month. The decision is based on a fast start to community vaccinations and decreasing demand for continued vaccinations.
As of Wednesday, Door County Medical Center has administered nearly 10,000 vaccine doses, with about 3,300 people fully vaccinated. Door County leads the state with over 50% of residents having received at least one dose, according to a news release.
The hospital is providing the two-dose Moderna vaccine for anyone at least 18 years old.
Appointments can be made on the Door County Medical Center website.
