Wesley Brice (Brown County Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The man who police say stabbed a man to death after first stabbing a bartender on South Broadway in Green Bay earlier this month has been formally charged.
Police identified the man as 22-year-old Wesley J Brice. Brice allegedly had followed a female bartender from another bar to Rum Runners bar and stabbed her en route. He drove his vehicle into the front of Rum Runners, got out of his vehicle, approached a vehicle stopped at a train crossing, and knocked on the window.
The 70-year-old male victim in the car opened the door and was stabbed multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The female victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
According to the criminal complaint, Brice was screaming that he was “the real God” and appeared to be incoherent during the attack.
Officers arrested Brice outside of the vehicle and rendered aid to the victims of the stabbing.
Brice is currently being held in a secure facility and will be transported to the Brown County Jail once he is cleared from that facility.
Brice has been charged with nine counts, including first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
