GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A special meeting of the Green Bay City Council Friday will review voting locations for the spring primary election.
The city was criticized for consolidating voting in the April, 2020, election from 31 locations to just two. Additional sites, including multi-ward sites, were added for the fall elections.
A list of the proposed locations was not released Thursday with the agenda, however.
Celestine Jeffreys, Chief of Staff for Mayor Genrich and his pick to be the new city clerk, told FOX 11 she expects there will be “around 20 sites.”
The list will be presented at the meeting, which is at noon. The public can watch online.
The spring primary is Feb. 16. Among the races will be a statewide primary for state Supt. of Public Instruction.
