(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers have traded former closer Corey Knebel to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
According to the report on www.mlb.com, the Brewers will receive in exchange for Knebel a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Knebel who it is speculated would have been non-tendered by the Brewers pitched in 15 games for Milwaukee this past season and had a 6.08 ERA.
In other Brewers news, the club signed a 1-year deal with shortstop Orlando Arcia said to be worth $2-million.
Sources indicate that others re-upping with the Brewers included Dan Vogelbach, Manny Pina and Omar Narvaez. Each signed a 1-year deal with the club.
Brewers pitchers Josh Hader and Brandon Woodruff were tendered. Both are eligible for arbitration.
Reliever Alex Claudio, outfielder Ben Gamel and Jace Peterson were non-tendered.
