GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The 24th annual Garden of Lights has kicked off at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. The event, feature over 300,000 lights, will have limited attendance this year.
“It’s really about safety first,” said Cindy Berton, the garden’s development director. “We’ve got all the signs for social distancing, you do need to wear a mask, certainly while you’re standing in line, if you’re getting too close to people.”
Attendance is being limited to about 2,500 people per night, or about 300 people per hour. Visitors must buy time-stamped tickets in advance online and must come no later than 30 minutes from when their ticket says to arrive.
