LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – Fox Valley Metro Police are investigating the deaths of two people in Little Chute.
Officers responded to a home on the 900 block of W. Elm Drive for a welfare check around 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.
“Upon making entry into the home, we did observe to deceased adults. At this point in time, we do not believe that there is any danger to any members of the community,” said Fox Valley Metro Police Lieuenant Mark Wery.
The Fox Valley Metro Police Department does not believe there is any on going threat to the community. But little other information was released.
“Given the fact that we are attempting to conduct a credible investigation for the families at this point is why we don’t release any more information about specifics,” Wery told WTAQ News. “I understand how the information that we’re providing would allow people to make some assumptions on what has gone on.”
However, thorough investigations don’t always lend themselves to the immediate release of specific details.
“Ultimately, we’re trying to recreate the last handful of days. That’s what takes some time, as we attempt to speak with family members and those who may have had any type of personal relationship with these individuals,” Wery explained.
Due to the ongoing investigation there will be a police presence in the area throughout the day. Wery expects more details to be released sometime in the next several days.
