FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fond du Lac County has moved back into Phase 1 of its Safe Restart plan after an increase in positive coronavirus test rate.
According to the county’s online dashboard updated Monday afternoon, the rolling seven-day average of positive test percentage was 12.93%, moving it to “red light” status.
The move back to Phase 1 means that capacity in “non-essential” businesses, bars, restaurants and organizations is limited to 25%. Private indoor social gatherings are limited to 10 or fewer people.
Fond du Lac County had been in Phase 2 since July. On Aug. 12, health officials warned that virus activity was growing in the county and there was a danger of moving back into Phase 1.
