GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Will Green Bay public school students begin the year going to school a few days a week or learning entirely from home?
That’s what the school board is set to decide at a special meeting Monday night.
The district released three models for the coming year:
- On-site, where all students go to school all week long. For this to become an option, Brown County must be listed as having low community transmission on the state Department of Health Services’ dashboard.
- Off-site (virtual), where students stay home and attend classes online.
- Blended learning, where students are broken up into different groups that attend classes two days a week.
Detailed descriptions of each option are available on the district’s website.
Those who want to make comments to the school board in advance of Monday’s meeting can email boardofeducation@gbaps.org.
Questions can be submitted through the community input form on the district’s website.
