ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Booyah and Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are both set to open their delayed 2020 seasons at home.
The teams are among six in the Northwoods League that will begin play July 1 in front of limited crowds due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Dock Spiders are scheduled to host the Wisconsin Woodchucks July 1, while the Booyah welcome the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
Only two weeks’ worth of games were announced. It is possible other teams could join the “pod” as restrictions in their local areas are eased.
The full league schedule is expected to be released by the end of this month.
