GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — After meeting with protest organizers, Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich has rescinded the curfew order that was set to expire Monday.
The curfew was put into place last week after protests turned violent on May 31st. Under it, groups were prohibited from gathering between 9pm and 6am.
The lifting of the curfew was announced during a large demonstration on Sunday at Leicht Park in Green Bay over the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police.
