ASHWAUBENON (WTAQ-WLUK) – Construction of the new Resch Expo has reached its tallest point.
Crews and community leaders had a “topping-out” ceremony, which is when the last beam is placed on top of a building.
The piece of steel placed Thursday happens to be the longest, tallest and heaviest one out of the whole project.
It was signed by the project team who persevered to keep the project on schedule.
“For them, this is kind of that marker, it’s a milestone for their project and as you heard the village president state, they’re on budget and they’re on time, despite all the different things that have come to us as a community, in terms of this overall project,” said Brown County executive Troy Streckenbach.
The project is expected to cost $93 million and to be complete in January.
